On Wednesday, propylene prices in the United States remained stable as a cautious market outlook weighed on trading activity. An anonymous industry source shared with a Polymerduniya team member that “the pricing undertone remained largely stable, while trading activity slowed due to widening gaps in pricing expectations between buyers and sellers.”
Polymer grade spot-delivered propylene prices were assessed at 31.50–32.00 cents/lb FD US Gulf, unchanged from Tuesday. Refinery grade spot-delivered propylene similarly held steady at 30.50–31.00 cents/lb FD US Gulf.
