An anonymous industry source reported that weak sentiment prevailed, characterized by lackluster buying activity and fragile demand fundamentals across the region’s downstream segments. Consequently, buyers have adopted a cautious, “wait-and-see” approach amid persistent market volatility.
In contrast, the Asian market saw a modest increase in propylene prices on the same day. FOB Korea assessments rose to USD 740–750/mt, up USD 5/mt from Friday’s levels, signaling renewed purchasing interest in the region.
