On Wednesday, European ethylene prices remained stable even as upstream energy costs moved higher, reflecting steady buying interest across regional markets. An industry source in Europe, speaking on condition of anonymity, told a Polymerduniya team member that prices held constant largely due to sustained purchasing activity.
Ethylene prices in Europe were assessed at USD 845–855/mt CIF NWE, unchanged from Tuesday. FD NWE ethylene levels also remained steady at Euro 750–760/mt.
In contrast, Asia registered a modest uptick. Ethylene prices in North East Asia were assessed at USD 825–835/mt CFR, marking an increase of USD 5/mt from the previous day’s levels.
