Iran’s Recycled Polymer Prices Hold Mixed Levels Across Grades

Recycled polymer prices in Iran showed a varied pattern this week, with different grades holding steady at distinct levels on an FOB Iran basis.

R-HFI 5110 in plain bags was assessed at USD 940 per metric ton, while both R-LFI 2119 and R-LIM 2047 held at USD 1,070 per metric ton. R-BL3 traded at USD 920 per metric ton.

Among reprocessed low-density polyethylene, black material was priced at USD 560 per metric ton, white at USD 780, honey-colored at USD 690, and natural at USD 830.

Reprocessed PE100 black stood at USD 710 per metric ton, with PE80 black at USD 690. Reprocessed polypropylene copolymer from car bumpers and batteries was at USD 860 per metric ton.

High-impact polystyrene reprocessed material fetched USD 830 per metric ton in black and USD 850 in cream. Reprocessed ABS rounded out the list at USD 860 per metric ton.

These assessments underline a market that remains stable overall, with grade-by-grade differences reflecting the balance of regional supply and demand.
