The NATPET facility of Alujain shuts down for routine maintenance.

In compliance with industry norms, Alujain Corp. announced the planned maintenance turnaround for the propylene and polypropylene complex of National Petrochemical Industrial Co. (NATPET), its 65%-owned subsidiary.

The firm told Tadawul in a statement that the maintenance work will help increase plant dependability and production efficiency. It will also assist in achieving operating strategies for the future.

From January 26 to February 17, the mechanical maintenance procedure is planned to begin.

Since the shutdown for periodic maintenance is planned and its financial impact is taken into consideration when creating the 2025 budget, both in terms of the volume of production and anticipated revenues, it shouldn’t be viewed as an opportunity loss, the statement continued.

The business added that the necessary safeguards have been put in place to prevent any negative effects on its duties to its clients and that any additional developments would be disclosed as they become available.
