Hanwha Solutions Chemical is preparing to take its No. 2 polyvinyl chloride plant in Ulsan offline for a short maintenance turnaround.
A source familiar with the matter told that the outage is scheduled to begin on November 4, 2025, with operations expected to restart around November 10. The company has not issued an official confirmation.
The Ulsan facility, which houses the No. 2 unit, has a nameplate capacity of 95,000 metric tons per year and is a key part of Hanwha’s PVC supply network in South Korea. Market participants will be watching for any impact on regional availability, though the limited duration suggests minimal disruption if the timeline holds.
