Lotte Titan Nusantara has temporarily shut down its No. 2 high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plant in Cilegon for a scheduled maintenance turnaround. The outage, which commenced in early August 2025, is expected to last approximately one month, according to a Polymerduniya source in Indonesia.
This facility, with an annual production capacity of 125,000 mt/year, plays a significant role in the region’s HDPE supply chain. While short-term maintenance is routine in the petrochemical sector, the temporary outage may tighten regional supply, especially if it overlaps with robust demand or concurrent operational disruptions elsewhere.
