Industry insiders believe this offer reflects both competitive pricing from American producers and cautious demand from Vietnamese buyers. While USD 860-870/mt marks a moderate level compared to past offers, it underscores tightening margins due to rising freight, feedstock, and logistical costs.
Vietnamese converters are said to be studying this offer closely, comparing it to regional shipments from other origins, anticipating how exchange rates and import duties might affect landed cost.
