Propylene markets in the United States showed no movement on Tuesday, with traders reporting a quiet session and balanced fundamentals.
An industry source told Polymerupdate that regional demand remained flat, leaving prices unchanged from the start of the week. Polymer-grade spot delivered propylene held at 31.50–32.00 cents per pound FD US Gulf, while refinery-grade material stayed at 28.50–29.00 cents per pound on the same basis.
The calm underscores a market content to wait, with neither buyers nor sellers seeing reason to adjust bids or offers as the week unfolds.
